Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how PhotoMark Studio handles information when you use the app. Photo editing, watermark creation, signature processing, and export are performed on your device.
1. Information We Process
Depending on the features you use, PhotoMark Studio may process the following information:
- Photos you select. The app reads images you choose from your photo library or camera and processes them on your device for watermark preview, rendering, and export.
- Photo metadata. The app may read camera make, camera model, lens model, capture date, exposure information, dimensions, and similar metadata from selected photos so it can display or render photo information watermarks.
- Export settings. The app stores preferences such as export format, size, compression, and whether metadata should be included in exported images.
- Watermark settings and templates. The app stores your selected styles, text, layout choices, brand mark preferences, saved templates, and template preview images on your device.
- Signatures. Handwritten signatures, uploaded signature images, and cropped signature images may be stored locally in the app.
- Purchase information. The app uses Apple StoreKit to load products, start purchases, restore purchases, and check subscription entitlements. We do not receive your payment card details.
2. How We Use Information
The app uses information to provide its features, render and export watermarked photos, preserve your settings, sync templates if you choose to enable iCloud sync, and verify Pro entitlement through Apple.
3. Photos and On-Device Processing
PhotoMark Studio does not upload selected photos to us for watermark editing or export. Photo previews, metadata reading, watermark composition, signature image processing, and export are handled on your device. If you choose to preserve metadata during export, selected original image metadata may be written into the exported file you save to your photo library.
4. iCloud Sync
If you enable template iCloud sync, personal template data and compressed preview images are stored using Apple's iCloud key-value storage for your Apple ID. Apple processes iCloud data under Apple's terms and privacy policy. You can turn off template iCloud sync in the app settings.
5. Subscriptions and StoreKit
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. The app receives subscription product information and verified entitlement status through StoreKit so it can unlock Pro features or restore purchases. Apple handles billing, payment credentials, invoices, renewal management, cancellation, and refund requests.
6. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs in the current app build. We may share or make information available only as needed for the following purposes:
- With Apple, for App Store distribution, StoreKit subscriptions, Photos permission flows, photo library saving, and optional iCloud sync.
- When required by law, legal process, security needs, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of users, the app, or the service.
7. Retention and Deletion
Local app data, including settings, saved signatures, and templates, remains on your device until you delete it in the app where available, reset the relevant settings, or remove the app. iCloud template data may remain in iCloud according to your Apple ID and iCloud settings.
8. Your Choices
- You can choose which photos to import through iOS photo selection controls.
- You can deny or revoke camera or photo library permissions in iOS Settings.
- You can decide whether exported images preserve original metadata.
- You can disable iCloud template sync in the app settings.
- You can manage or cancel Pro subscriptions through your Apple Account settings.
9. Security
PhotoMark Studio relies on iOS security protections and Apple's security measures for information stored on your device or processed through Apple services. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
PhotoMark Studio is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
11. International Processing
Apple services you choose to use may process information in countries or regions other than where you live, subject to Apple's terms and privacy policy. Data protection laws may differ by location.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when this version became effective. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to make the updated policy available in the app or on this page.
